𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐜𝐲

The biblical idea of destiny and its actual outworking are

two different things. To what degree we experience God’s intentions

for us is based on our submission to Him. I agree

with the Greek philosopher Heraklitos, who wrote “Ethos Anthropos

Daimon”, or, in English, “A man’s character is his fate.”

Another ancient proverb states, “A man’s own folly ruins his

life, yet his heart rages against the Lord.” We can’t blame God,

or fate, when our own choices bankrupt our lives.
